After a stellar sold-out debut last summer, Changing Tides Festival is making a triumphant return for its second year, bringing a fresh wave of world class live music and local flavour to the stunning shores of Kiama 14 + 15th of December.
With those laid-back quintessential small-town vibes at its heart, the festival is a true celebration of local culture, community spirit, and that unmistakable South Coast energy. Taking over Kiama Showgrounds across two sun-soaked days, expect food stalls brimming with fresh local producers, a curated selection of craft beers and wines, and of course a roundup of some of Australia’s biggest artists and homegrown legends.
No need for introductions Hilltop Hoods legacy is undeniable. They have dominated the airwaves and festival lineups over the years and for good reason; they know how to bring an unmatched energy and unwavering musical mastery to the stage that is a synonymous only with a Hoods show. Fresh off the back of a whirlwind International tour where they’ve lit up a slew of sold-out shows across North America, UK and Europe, Australia’s favourite psych-surf-rock six-piece Ocean Alley are back to close out the year with a bang. Bringing their signature soulful swagger, stacked harmonies, and infectious melodies this is your last chance to see one of Australia’s most exciting musical exports wrap up a huge 2024.
As a one-of-a-kind vocalist, clever lyricist, skilled producer, and imaginative creator, Tones And I continues to push the boundaries of pop music with her distinct and unforgettable anthems. Since her breakout in 2019 as a busker from Australia’s Mornington Peninsula, she has shattered records, racked up the award accolades, sold out Tours, and is now set to captivate Changing Tides with that same energy that has taken the world by storm.
Joining them across the two days are the unique and infectious stylings of Australia’s favourite brother duo Lime Cordiale, magnetic pop-wunderkind Ruel, queen of pop pixie Peach PRC and the experimental alt-pop melodies of Mallrat.
